Remarkable features of Skype

Skype for Windows Desktop

Has been released a new version of Skype for Windows Desktop which finally fixes the bug with joining to the P2P-group calls. Thus, users which use old operating systems or versions of Skype without the support of NGC codec can once again participate in the P2P-group calls. It seems that in Skype for Windows Desktop there are no other changes.

Hi! First of all be sure that your status is not set to "Do not Disturb" or "Offline". For this, right-click on Skype icon in system tray, select "Online Status" and choose "Online".

Then go to Tools → Options → Notifications → Notifications Settings and verify if all options are enabled.

And finally, if this is group chat, on contacts list right-click on your group, select "View Profile" and enable the "Notify me when something new happens" option.

Hi! I checked them now and these emoticons are still displayed at least on Skype 7.25 for Windows. What happens when you send the (cwl) code? It’s shown as regular text or as blank space?
