Skype 7.22.0.109 for Windows

Went out the next minor release of the Skype for Windows that fixes the bug not allowing users to log in if the password length is greater than 20 characters. However, for most users release 7.22.0.109 is still not considered to be recommended — Skype shows that a new release is available only if is used a version newer than 7.21 (for older versions, the recommended release is considered 7.21.0.100).

    Bah Humbug (karma: 0),
So having been away from Skype for quite some time, I was not surprised that I'd receive a request that I upgrade. I'd managed to do video conferencing with version 7.18 (Yes.. it had been that long.) so after a quick video/voice conference call to a brother using Skype before doing my upgrade (to be sure things were working with my current version), I decided to download and move to 7.22.0.109. Big mistake. Although Skype IM still worked, video and voice chat were no longer functioning. Calls would simply not connect. Instead, all attempts would immediately hang up regardless of who was initiating the video/voice connection. (Both my brother and I had upgraded but the problem seemed to be on my end.) After futile searches for lessons from Google University (searching for others who may have experienced the same type of problem), went to school looking for previous versions of Skype. Fortunately OneDrive came through with a copy of the 7.18.0.112 which I knew worked. I downloaded it and went back to a previous version, updating the Skype community as to why I was uninstalling Skype from my computer. Hopefully, technicians are working on the problem and will have the problem rectified on the next release. In the mean time, I've bookmarked OneDrive. Using 7.18.0.112 I was able to video and voice conference with no issues.

Hi! Try do download the MSI Installer which is available at this URL: http://www.skype.com/go/getskype-msi

If it does not help, open this page http://www.skaip.org/check-access-to-skype in Internet Explorer (very important to open it in IE) and click the "Check" button. After completing the test, click on the "Click here to obtain URL of the report", copy the provided URL and paste it here on comments.
