The new Skype for Windows continues to evolve and today has been updated to version 8.10.0.4. Personally, I did not notice any big changes, except minor changes and a new option in the settings that allows showing the call window even if Skype is running in the background.

    result in being redirected to the Microsoft Store where only the latest Skype version is available which is not supported on older versions of Windows 10
