The Skype for Mac application is now available for download from the official site. Also, you can download the new version from our blog. As for changes in the Skype 8.52.0.138 for Mac OS X, on the official website, the developers reported the following:

• Just dropping in: Want to share a contact with another contact, or add someone to a conversation? You can now just drag and drop right from your contact list into a conversation.
• Everybody's talking: You can now schedule calls with your groups in Skype.
• A better split: We've made some improvements to split view, like remembering window sizes and positions, correctly restoring minimized conversations, proper focus on the message composer, and more.
• Bug fixes and performance improvements.
