Has been released the new version of Skype for Windows, in which was completely fixed the bug with displaying messages in wrong order (in the previous release, the error was not fixed for the group chats). Also, in Skype 7.18.0.103 for Windows has been fixed the bug with notifications of new messages, due to which the unread icon does not disappear even after reading.

In this version also has been improved the emoticons picker and now all emoticons and mojis are grouped into sections according to subject matter. Funny coincidence that a month ago on the Skype emoticons page I do almost the same thing — I grouped smileys by tags.

    I need a version of Skype that works with XP SP3 32 bit with firefox, I do not and will not use IE, my PC has reached it's limit as far as resources are concerned, i.e. I'm running at it's max now, I cannot have anything else running.

      Internet Explorer is just a requirement, like .NET framework, Microsoft Visual С++ or DirectX — you’ll almost never use them, but it doesn’t mean that they are unnecessary. As Skype relies on IE components you must install Internet Explorer 8.
