With the latest version of Skype, some users started getting a fatal error "Failed to load library «dxva2.dll»". In this small guide, I will show you how you can fix the fatal error with missing of the «dxva2.dll» library and will explain why this error occurs.
For the beginning, I would like to specify that this error affect only Windows XP users because the latest version of Skype requires the DXVA 2.0 library. This version of the DXVA (DirectX Video Acceleration), unlike the previous version, quickly process video streams, as well as support new features. The problem is that the DXVA 2.0 library has introduced in Windows Vista, as Windows XP still uses DXVA 1.0 and, respectively, any program that require DXVA 2.0, will refuse to run on Windows XP.
Fortunately, the problem can be solved very easy — you need to take the original «dxva2.dll» library frm Windwos Vista, 7, or 8, and copy into the Windows XP system folder. For simplicity, here is a step-by-step guide how to fix this fatal error:
Method 1: Fast
At first, close the Skype (though it is unlikely that you have it running, but it is important to make sure that Skype is not running).
Then, download the dxva2.dll library. I took this file from the system folder of the original version of Windows, and you can confirm this by checking the digital signature of the file.
Next, you need to copy downloaded file dxva2.dll into the C:\Windows\System32 folder.
Now launch the Skype. If the error appears again, copy the file dxva2.dll into C:\Program Files\Skype\Phone folder and start Skype.
Method 2: Correct
In fairness it should be noted that a proper solution for fixing this error is to install Microsoft .NET Framework 4 from the official site of Microsoft. This does not mean that the first method will not work. Conversely, it will also successfully fix the error. However, during installation of the Microsoft .NET Framework 4 will be created not only the «dxva2.dll» library, but also other necessary components.

So I've understood how to fix error about DXVA librarary but if also with this latest version of skype 7.17 appears error like "kernel32" what I have to do in this case?
P.S When this version appeared for the first time it can't connect to the internet , it was showing that we can't conect to the internet , I had read an article on skype community and there were specified that need to delete temporary files of internet explorer....I've done this but now appears other issue .... error which I mentione ..... So tell me what do in this case.....
Hi! Please read about the following error: Sorry, we couldn’t connect to Skype. I think updating Internet Explorer to the latest version should fix your error. If does not, try to update Microsoft .NET Framework.
